EU-HTA Manager
- Maria-Isabel coordinates the EU-HTA unit establishment and process optimization at SmartStep leveraging her program management expertise. In this role, she also manages the cross-functional team for EU HTA portfolio implementation.
- Maria-Isabel has previously led multi-disciplinary teams for End2End project management in drug development and healthcare.
- She translates EU-HTA legislation into SmartStep’s service portfolio for EU-wide market access, drawing on previous consulting experience in biotech regulatory frameworks.
- Maria-Isabel holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of California San Diego and is the author of numerous publications on clinical and molecular microbiology.
